This included completing feasibility studies, site evaluation and selection, programming, budgeting, and preliminary design. Input from the community was key to designing a one-of-a-kind facility that will serve Sydney residents for generations. The resulting design will provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities and is expected to attract visitors from across the region.
